Some Might Call It Destiny

uthor Unknown

The words destiny or fate are often used to answer questions that have no logical explanation.

Patricia has never been married but has been engaged twice. Now in her thirties, she is once again engaged to be married.

One Sunday morning Patricia and her parents, along with her fiance Bob and his mother Sylvia, who was visiting from out of state, all had brunch together. When the subject of the wedding came up in conversation, Patricia told Sylvia that she and Bob were planning on moving into her parent's duplex right after the wedding, which was only a few months away. Bob asked his mother if she would like to go see their new place, since it was now vacant and in the process of being fixed up. She said yes.

After brunch was over, the two families got into one car and drove to the duplex. The duplex is located in a very old neighborhood which still remains a nice area to live in.

During the ride over there, Sylvia seemed very excited. Finally they reached their destination and parked the car right in front of the couple's unit. Sylvia was dead silent. Then, oddly, just as they were all about to get out of the car, for some reason she started crying.

"What's wrong?" Bob asked his mother. Everybody was concerned and nobody had any idea what the problem was.

"This is the strangest happening," Sylvia answered. She then turned toward her son and told him and everybody else the most incredible story.

"Not the unit that you and Patricia are moving into, but the one next door. Your father and I used to live there. It was your first home Bob after I delivered you in the hospital."
